Senior Interclub

A competitive, social, fun experience for senior (55+) tennis players. Every Tuesday morning during the summer, the teams play either home or away matches consisting of men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles against opponents from other clubs.

Eligibility: All bona fide club members who have achieved the golden age of at least 55 at the beginning of 2024. No upper age limit. Your level of play is the determining factor. Players will have to play at least twice during the regular season to be eligible for the playoffs.
Format: Each match requires four men and four women. Play consists of two rounds of doubles and one mixed, all 40 mins each. Points are awarded by wins and a win goes to the team that is leading when time is called.
Participating clubs 2024: Ancaster, Port Dover, Rosedale (Hamilton), Victoria Park (Cambridge) Waterloo, Westmount.

#2- Westmount- 66 points, 5 matches- average pts.-13.2
#3- Waterloo- 71 points, 6 matches- average pts.- 11.8
#4- Rosedale- 70 points, 6 matches- average pts.- 11.7
#5 -Dover- 56 points, 5 matches, average pts.- 11.2(I did say virtual tie)
#6- Ancaster- 39 points, 5 matches, average pts.-7.8

Inter Urban

Inter Urban provides the opportunity for tennis club members to play friendly and competitive matches against other clubs from Cambridge, Waterloo and Guelph.

Every Tuesday during the summer, the teams play either home or away matches consisting of men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles against opponents from other clubs. At the end of the regular season, the top four clubs in each division advance to the playoffs.
