History of the Waterloo Tennis Club
Founded in 1915, the club’s longevity is a testament to the members and staff that have taken pride and satisfaction in running our club. The centre piece of Waterloo Park, our club is a rarity in that it is a members-owned non-profit organization which accounts for its character and the activities the club offers. With 12 courts in total at our club, there is always available court time for our members and guests. We have 6 hard courts that are covered by a dome and are open year round and from May to October, we open 6 clay courts outside. When looking for a warm up and no one is around to hit with or you just need to practice your strokes, we have a practice wall outside which always helps consistency. Whether your preference is the slow clay courts or the fast hard courts, the Waterloo Tennis Club makes sure that both are in great shape for its members and all of its tennis programs.
